Cyclone Hudhud

Prior to setting up Mallina Foundation, our founders along with their friends have helped contribute to relief efforts to revive Visakhapatnam - a beach front city and financial capital of the newly formed State of Andhra Pradesh. Please note that the donations made towards this cause are NOT tax deductible as this activity was completed prior to forming Mallina Foundation.

Visakhapatnam has been hit with cyclone Hudhud and has left the city with $650 Million in insured losses alone. The cyclone has left an estimated $11B in property and infrastructure losses across the three states of India (Andhra Pradesh, Odisha, Andaman & Nicobar Islands) and parts of Nepal. The most hit were Visakhapatnam, Vijayanagaram and Srikakulam in Andhra Pradesh.
